Riva FLV Encoder

If you are receiving an "Encoding Failed" message when you are using the Riva Encoder, it means that the video you are trying to compress is not compatible with the encoder.  The best solution would be to move up to Flix Standard if you plan on doing much video encoding.

Flix Standard Encoder

Download Link for the Flix Standard software.  Use the downloads button at the top of the page to download the trial version.  Trial Version leaves watermarks on your video, so it's not very useful.

Flix software will encode any kind of video and has excellent Documentation and Tutorials for their Encoding Software.  They also have good email support at:  support@on2.com

A Video Won't Play On Your Web Page?

If you have encoded and uploaded a video and inserted it into your web page, but it still won't play....  there is one of 3 problems.  Click here to see the solution.

1.  The omcview.swf Video Player is missing from the server folder you are trying to stream from.
2.  The filename is wrong in one of the two spots in the object tag.
3.  The Video Script is missing from the header of your page.
